For the last two years, some of the best guitar players on the planet have come to Malibu, to take part in the country’s newest, fastest-growing music Festival. Virtuoso geniuses like Tommy Emmanuel, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Albert Lee, Lawrence Juber, Richie Sambora, Orianthe and many many more.
Now the Malibu Guitar Festival is back for year 3, and we can’t wait to announce the incredible artists we’ve got on deck. The Festival runs through May 18-21, with an all-star charity night on Thursday and a night of hot licks and fantastic jams on Friday- both at Casa Escobar, then a full day of music at Malibu Village on Saturday May 20. We’ll round things off with a Stones Brunch on Sunday. So- SAVE THE DATES!!!
Plus, all week they’ll be having jam-sessions, master-classes, swap-meets, schools performances, guitar demos, and a one-of-kind guitar themed art show.
The Malibu Guitar Festival is the brainchild of local producers Doug DeLuca and John Watkin, and has already raised tens of thousands of dollars for local charities.
