The TD Victoria International JazzFest is a ten-day music festival featuring the jazz, blues and world music of local, Canadian, and internationally acclaimed musicians. The “grandfather” of music festivals serving audiences in Vancouver and Gulf Islands region, TD JazzFest offers its devoted audience a wide scope of programming comparable to much larger festivals in significantly larger urban areas. Since its inception in 1985, the festival has been presented and produced by the Victoria Jazz Society. The festival celebrates its 33rd anniversary in 2017.
The 2017 TD Victoria International JazzFest will take place from Friday, June 23 – Sunday, July 2.
If I Had You is one of the featured tracks on the DVD Tommy Emmanuel – Music Gone Public.
Tommy Emmanuel – Music Gone Public, a DVD collection of “greatest hits” from Tommy’s previous PBS airings. The first season of Music Gone Public – Curated Concerts for Public Television was met with enormous success. Rather than highlight one concert, his episode combined many of his great performances for PBS over the last decade from previous features such as Center Stage, Tommy Emmanuel & Friends – Live from The Balboa Theatre, and Live and Solo from Pensacola, Florida.
Tommy Emmanuel joins the lineup for California WorldFest 2017!
The 21st annual California WorldFest is July 13-16, 2017 and features eight stages of music and dance from around the world, camping with family and friends, workshops, international food, fine crafts, and the renowned children’s program…celebrate mid-summer with us under the cool, tall pines of the Sierra foothills.
Since 2000, The Center for the Arts, a non-profit arts organization, has grown into a leading presenter of music, dance, theater, comedy, literary, visual art and family programming managing a 21,000 square foot venue in downtown Grass Valley and presenting over 150 events per year.
