Master Guitar Class
First Tommy will hold a Master Guitar Class. Guitar Dreamers has had the honor of hosting Tommy Emmanuel every year for the past 10 years, but this is our first ever Tommy Emmanuel Master Class. The class will be limited to 90 attendees and will be held in the Manship Hartley Vey Theater.
You can bring your own guitar, and Tommy will play several songs and give instruction as well. Also, there will be a time for questions and time to visit with Tommy. Tommy Emmanuel is considered to be one of the premier guitarists in the world today, and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.
To have this opportunity to learn from one of the masters is a rare privilege. Don’t hesitate to purchase your ticket. Complimentary water will be serviced and a cash drink station will be provided.

Country-rock band the Wild Feathers, Americana vocalist Rhiannon Giddens and new singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde are all on the bill, along with Tommy Emmanuel, the Grand Ole Opry Squaredancers, comic Gary Mule Deer and Stuart’s wife, Opry queen Connie Smith and the Sundowners. Set for June 7th at 10:00 p.m. at the Ryman Auditorium, the freewheeling concert features the artists playing well into the night, as its name suggests. Live! At The Ryman releases on May 19th! One of the tracks is a medley of Deep River Blues, Doc’s Guitar, Blue Smoke and Cannonball Rag.
Live! At The Ryman was recorded live at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on 27 February 2016, except “Eva Waits” which was recorded on 8 December 2016 at the Big Room in Chico, CA.
This is a genuine “had to be there”…no fix ups…no frills recording. Each of my guitars has pickups and microphones that are included when you buy them, so the sound you hear from this recording is exactly as it sounds in the hall.
Today, I am excited to announce the release of my latest album, “Live! At The Ryman”. It was an unforgettable experience playing my first solo show at the Historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. I have grown up listening to the music and artists that made those walls famous throughout the world and it was an honor to play on that stage. The night was a lifetime goal of mine and it was made that much more special with the appearance of my two good friends and fellow ‘CGPs,’ Steve Wariner and John Knowles. I’m so thrilled that we filmed and recorded the show, as John, Steve and I had never collaborated together before and this made the night even more special. The sold-out crowd just about lifted the roof off the hall and we all gave it our best! The spirit of Chet Atkins surrounded us three with love, peace and mojo! I hope those who hear this recording will be uplifted and feel the love we felt for the people who poured their joy into the Ryman Auditorium that night!

The Festival runs through May 18-21, with an all-star charity night on Thursday and a night of hot licks and fantastic jams on Friday- both at Casa Escobar, then a full day of music at Malibu Village on Saturday May 20.
